I have really loved adding this to my daily ritual. I have been healing some deep sadness around disappointment and this cacao blend that been a friend during these times. I sip it daily and it warms my heart. I feel it wrapping itself around me like a hug and I am hooked. Now to share it with my students and clients!

I like to enjoy Thriving Tanzania in the morning before college classes. It’s a good way to focus and connect before a hectic day. I like to add any nut milk and it doesn’t really need anything else!

I ordered 5 lbs of the Glowing Guatemalan for cacao ceremony and some personal use and I must say that it very high quality. Very well processed and extremely smooth texture in the cup; full-flavor, aroma and potency; easy to measure doses... what more could you ask for? I'm used to getting "authentic-looking" bricks or chunks from other sources, but don't let the cute little discs fool you--this cacao is the real deal. I've tried bunches of high-quality cacaos and what Jonas sources/produces is the best by pretty much every measure. You definitely won't find a better product for less. Notes about the Guatemalan: Deep-reddish rust brown in the cup, smells of the jungle floor and mycelium; taste is tannic and is not at all sweet. Potency is as high as any cacao I've tried; for me it was energizing and focusing, great for a productive and heart-centered day at work or ecstatic dance. Definitely a ceremonial/medicinal cacao, daily use only for the true connoisseur. Thanks to the Firefly team for all you do!

I don’t want to be TMI but I’ve suffered from PCOS symptoms for 2-years now and have been looking into a natural way to tackle my diagnoses. I’m always looking for new ways to improve my health and when I discovered firefly chocolate, what caught my eye was the maca and “hormonal support”. I jumped on it in a heartbeat. I don’t know if it was a mere coincidence but after the first bag was destroyed (b/c it was sooo delicious) I began to notice some of my symptoms disappearing. For the women out there, we want to ensure that we are regular on a monthly basis. Well, after 2 years and only 1/4 bags consumed, I have finally been successful. I’m going to order this until they stop...which I hope is never. Thank you for making a product that is true to its word.

I finished my whole bag in less than a few weeks because I just couldn’t stop drinking it. The flavor is very chocolatey and definitely has notes of a nutty flavor to it, just like the description says for this blend. I find that it definitely gives me an energy boost when I drink it. More impressive though, it gives me a mood boost. Drinking this cacao reminds me of the scene from Harry Potter where Professor Lupin offers Harry some chocolate to nibble on after his run in with the dementors. Chocolate really does make everything better. Will be trying more flavors in the future.

This kit is the best introduction to ceremonial cacao! It is definitely a new experience, but it was fun to taste the different flavors without buying a whole bag worth. I recommend using honey as a great sweetener if needed. It’s hard to pick a favorite since they all have a different personality! I look forward to buying more as a better alternative to coffee and expanding my relationship with cacao.

Really enjoying the flavor of this cacao. I’m on my last cup from my first order of Firefly Chocolate. I drink a cup in the morning and a cup at night and it definitely gives me both an energy boost and, even more so, a mood boost. I wouldn’t believe it myself if I didn’t know it to be true but chocolate really does enhance your mood. Takes about 5-10 mins to kick in for me once I’ve started drinking but it definitely brightens up my day. I guess that scene where professor Lupin offers Harry some chocolate to help him recover from the shock of dementors really isn’t magic, it’s just truth.

This is my first batch of ceremonial Cacao and I was definitely impressed. I have fallen in love with it. I have been doing cacao drinks with processed powder while looking for a reputable company. I am very happy with this and looking forward to trying Cacao from other regions.

This is my absolute favorite cacao to use for ceremony for larger groups of people-- its rich, cheesy, nutty, creamy and DEEP for energetic and consciousness work. I am so grateful for these products!

This variety of cacao is similar to Boundless Belize but with a slightly warmer and sweeter flavor profile. Highly recommend for daily ritual use!
