This was the very first cacao I endeavored to try from Firefly Chocolate. I love the richness on my tongue. Its flavor profile of raisin with a hint of Mother Earth’s fermentation offers me a truly introspective perspective, allowing me an opportunity to connect with my intuition. The delivery was fairly prompt. 7-10 days. However, the first delivery was 70% melted so I let them know. The replacement order arrived within 7 days, but was about 25% melted. I didn’t want to fuss anymore about it. The quality is very good and I have been enjoying it. However, there are other cacao products available on the market that will not melt so I am on the fence about ordering more, unfortunately. I would like to do business with this company but the logistics make it awkward.

We were gifted a pound of Belize cacao and enjoyed it so much we gifted the sample package to our friends and we decided to try them too. We’ve enjoyed experiencing different flavors each morning with our cacao ceremony. We are hooked and ready for the 5 pound bag! Now to decide what one. Thank you for making a superior product. We will continue to tell more people about it.

First time use was a ceremony with friends, are used almond milk as the liquid as well as a small amount of honey cinnamon and cardamom. I found the flavor deep and complex might use a little more honey next time.
