I love every bag of cacao from Ora, but this my favorite variety.

I served my country as a Marine in Desert Storm then came home and worked as a state trooper and detective. Between fighting terrorism and crime I saw my share of sadness in this world. I have always loved chocolate. I’m also aware that this is because of the uplifting effect Chocolate has on mood. But when I found Ceremonial Cacao my world changed. It took a while to get used to the purity and strength that the various Cacao mixtures offered. I confess that at first I was just getting some comfort food and while that is true, it’s really so much more. I made a traditional ritual out of using the different blends and got my wife Serenity on board. She’s a nurse on the front lines of fighting Covid. There’s an instant gratification from a Cacao ritual but the real wonderment is in the long lasting affects. Like exercising, you don’t get completely fit by one workout. Though a single exercise session can feel good: The irony of this is that I found, through simple internet researching, that exercise induced mood stabilization, euphoria and that sense of accomplishment, is very similar, at a hormone -Neuro-transmitter level to drinking Cacao. So now retired from my career, having survived many dangerous encounters with murderers and rapists, I climb mountains with Serenity all over the world. We always pack our bundles and Ceremonial items to use on the cliffs and ridges of Earth’s most beautiful mountain peaks. Through it all, I found that life is its own reward. You spend a portion depended upon others, you grow and serve your communities, states and your country, then you’re free to fully enjoy everything that life on Earth has to offer. Like a mountain climb, it’s often an uphill battle, with magnificent moments side by side scary fearful one’s, and your reward is to make it back home, safe and sound, only to do it all again when you’re ready. Really enjoying the various Cacao tastes. I really want to increase my intake of mushrooms and this is a good way to do it. As taste goes the mushroom cacao has a bit of a mushroom after taste, so I am mixing it with the Guatemalan blend to smooth out the taste so i can still get the mushrooms into my body and have that deep rich cacao flavor I love so much.
