Thriving Tanzania is my go to of Cacao varieties. When I sip and ask for insight I feel more secure in myself. It’s very grounding and adds to my sense of self awareness. It helps me to get in touch with what I already know with every cell of my ancestral wisdom.

This recipe is more of a rich dark chocolate flavor with some spice. I’m just so used to the Tantric Rose, and this one doesn’t have that same sweetness. I just add a bit more maple syrup and it’s great. Plenty of lasting energy to keep me going!

I loooooove the way this one warms me up and gets my fire stoked. Every time I drink it I think of that one scene in the movie Chocolate, where Judi Dench is like, “nothing is gonna make me happy EVER so just f off,” and then Juliette Benoche is like, “what about THIS?” as she hands her some drinking chocolate with chili in it and Judi Dench is like “whaaaaaaaaaaaa?! this is the BOMB!” That’s the vibe. Spice it up!

I love the soothing yet energizing effect of this cacao. It has become my go-to...instead of trying to hype myself up with coffee, I make a cup of this to ground me. One of the things I love about this cacao in particular is that I can have it in the afternoon and it doesn't keep me up at night. It's delicious made with oat milk, which I foam with my espresso machine and then blend it with a small frother for a light, satisfying feel.
