    The packing service was awesome. The driver was on time as told. However, the unpacking wasn’t as promised by your rep. Walls were marked and one dent put in one wall. One nick was taken out of the wood trim. Inversion table was not reassembled. Sewing table was not put together. Three shelving units were not put together - driver said a third party would contact us about doing that. Protective floor runners were not provided as asked. Basically the crew who did the unpacking were common laborers who had no experience in these issues like your packing crew. We were pleased with the getting here process.

    A great long distance move. Starting first with a very competitive and accurate quote, followed by a full pack, followed by a delivery that beat the estimates by a full 10 days. Steve Lee and team were too notch in every aspect from load to delivery to unload. The only slight on the experience were the packers, who missed quite a bit and left many things unmarked - this is not at all a reflection of Steve, nor his teams.

    Great move!! Lots of communication from the entire team. No surprises with anything. Our stuff was packed (in Aurora,CO) on Wed/Thurs, loaded into the truck on Fri, and at our new home in northern WI on Wed! Quickest movement of hhg I’ve ever had done! (Many military moves under my belt.) everything was packed perfectly - nothing broken! Loaders/unloaders were fabulous! The truck driver was awesome!! Super happy we used Baileys/Allied!

    Regrettably, I used Coleman/Allied Van Lines for my out-of-state move in June 2022. Overall, the experience was nightmarish and traumatic. More specifically, it was characterized by: 1) a lack of consistent and clear communication from the outset regarding my exact delivery date; 2) a failure to provide timely updates after my “pack, load, and haul” confirmed by David Voyles on June 9th unexpectedly changed into a “pack and load” on June 16th less than a week before my scheduled move; 3) a failure to adhere to the delivery date of June 24th confirmed on June 10th by David Voyles; 4) damaged leather and handcrafted solid wood furniture along with other items; 5) and a stolen television. I would never recommend this detestable, unscrupulous moving company to any shipper. The experience was a nightmare and the ultimate cost was high. The anxiety, frustration, regret all negatively impacted my health and overall well-being. Next time, I will choose a mover who will honor the terms of the signed agreement, who will work with trained, experienced movers, and who will be both ethical and reliable.

    The estimate of the move went very quickly and the final cost was remarkably close to the estimate. There was a miscommunication regarding the arrangement of logistics at the destination, but the building management worked with me and the driver to get passed that. The delivery date was a agreed upon and they were there on time. The delivery went smoothly, but a box was missing. Everyone there searched for it, but no box. The delivery driver assured me they would continue the search, but that I should sign the delivery documents, which I did. My signing released Allied from responsibility for the box. Be careful what you sign. There were two damaged items (discovered days later) which Allied paid for with no dispute. I consider this a successful move despite the aforementioned issues. I learned a lot.

    Very disappointed. Zero organization or follow through. Picked up my things on 6/22/22. Did not have truck large enough, so had to get a second truck. Did not account for dissambling furniture so had to leave items for new home owner without getting anything in return. Seventy five percent of furniture was harmed in one form or another. Too many more terrible things to list

    My stuff was sitting at a warehouse for four days before the driver piced it up. I was missing several ices that were never recovered nor was II reimbursed for them. I have used Allied four other times and this was the worst. I will not recommend Allied to my friends or family. If you do decide to use them make sure you check off every box they delivered, cause once the driver leaves they wash their hands of anything that is missing. Also the drivertook my extension ladder and never brought it back. Probably still in the belly of the truck.

    The packers arrived on time and were fast and thorough. The crew treated my items with care and respect. I then had my things in storage for two months before shipping to WA. I was in contact with the moving coordinator the whole time. Then when got a house in WA, I was able to schedule the delivery with no problem. I was in contact with the van driver the entire time my things were Enrique. Then, the unpacking went smoothly and only one thing was broken. It was the base of a pole lamp. The driver compensated me on the spot. I would recommend Allied to anyone needing a mover.

    Very professional and was on time. But damage was done to house when picking up but new owners state damage was fixed. Delivery of household items was very disappointing several pieces of furniture was scratched and had horrible damage that will require professional repair, our TV power cord was misplaced by the movers and some fragile items were destroyed.

    I've moved across the country two times before using Allied and I've never had such as terrible experience. Everything that could go wrong did with this move. My shipment was over a week late (past the 2 week delivery window), my belongings arrived damaged and unorganized, and the packing team was slow and sloppy (forgot to pack 2 closets and a bathroom). Ultimately it's the customer service that's driving such a poor review. I was given false promises from the salesman and only received text updates from the customer service rep throughout the process. Phone calls were left unanswered, and even questions via text did not get a response. I do not recommend this company, especially the Birmingham, AL staff.

    I scheduled a move for 6/7. When the truck arrived there was only room for part of my things I was moving to NY from GA. The driver told me the household goods already in the truck were underestimated in size so half my belongings were picked up by a smaller truck and taken to a warehouse in GA. I have called and emailed to determine when my goods would be delivered. The only response I get is that Dispatch will call me. They have not. Today I lodged a dispute with AMEX so they will look into it. Next will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I see others have had the same issue. I just want my things that I paid to have delivered.

    Great service! Professional and kind people throughout the process! Our crib mattress was lost in the process and they cut us a check for it without a problem. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because our stuff took 18 days to arrive. This arrival time was still within their estimated time frame and it was a cross country move but it was hard to be without our stuff for that long. Also, more updates regarding the arrival time of our stuff would have been helpful. I kept having to reach out for updates. Overall though we were pleased with the service

    The worst experience as far as administration/contact people. We had no follow up once our move was scheduled and they cancelled our move. It was a terrible experience getting it rescheduled. The movers packed our valuable art in padded paper instead of boxes. A piece of our art was damaged. Our dining room table pedestal was broken. I would never recommend any one to use your company. Terrible experience.

    First time using a moving company. Your driver was great. Details…I had no idea items would be turned upside down and on end. Minor damages could have been prevented with communication. Still missing a few items. Driver will check the truck when he gets back. All in all a good experience. I couldn’t have accomplished the move otherwise. The driver, loaders, and unloaders worked very hard and kept a good attitude. Very respectful.

    Service was pretty average. It seemed to me I had to ask the coordinator for information a couple of times before she answered my questions and I didn’t feel like I was informed in a timely manner for delivery time and final balance due. In fact, my delivery driver didn’t have the correct amount to drop off my delivery. I know my coordinator is extremely busy but it has been over 3 days she nice I have heard about a claim I made her aware of.

    Up front service was great, positive contact with sales, positive walkthrough and pre-move estimate. The move itself has been a nightmare. Origin movers left the house a mess, dragged items on the ground causing damage, required me to work for hours to pack and move items which were part of walkthrough and in agreement, and left garbage *inside* a bannister in my carport. At destination, driver arrived with only one other person to help and again asked me to help which required 10 hours of my time to move items including a piano. Destination movers didn’t put items in the room they were labeled for, largely leaving heavy items on the first floor or in a detached garage requiring my wife and I to do much of the heavy lifting for a $14k move. So far half the shipment has arrived and numerous expensive and sentimental items were broken for careless reasons (largely putting fragile and expensive items on the bottom of the truck where they were crushed). Will never recommend and will never use again.

    Allied is very poor on returning phone calls and keeping customers informed as far as delivery of household goods calling to the contract it was promised by the 15th it will not be here for for for another few days it was available and driver had indicated he can get here by the third of the month none of those of happen and with numerous phone calls nine answering the phone this is not a way to do business and sent an email to say it’s been delayed more is not a way to communicate this is extremely poor business

    The customer service was exceptional! I was notified every step of the way and everyone was accommodating, from the agents to the driver. Had a couple of small items I had to file a claim for, but it was not due to negligence of the moving crew, more so an accident so we will see how the claim process goes. But overall my belongings were handled with care & delivered as promised. My drivers customer service was exceptional and my agent Nila was great throughout the entire process! I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Just an FYI, my move was from Delaware to Texas in July the hottest month, but my moving crew did an excellent job in getting things done without complaining.

    They moved my stuff and nothing was broken so the packers and van line did a good job, but the Allied person who gave me my quote said he would talk to the driver about my move-in date being a few days later than intended and told me it shouldn’t be a problem. Well, he never spoke to the driver and it was a problem and then put the onus on me to fix the problem by trying to move my housing close date. And then he called and was angry with me that the driver was wanting Allied to give him additional funds for changing the plan. It was a poor experience and I will not use Allied again in the future.

    From our experience, staff that we worked with were very friendly and professional. We weren’t expecting much since we heard a lot of negative reviews toward movers, so our expectations weren’t high to begin with, we were a bit nervous if anything. But to our surprise it only took the movers 5 days from picking up to dropping off from Denver, Colorado to San Francisco, CA, and it would have been a day sooner if it wasn’t a holiday in between. Not to set anyone expectations that it’ll be the same for others, we got lucky the timeline worked out for us and the movers. Our movers, two nice gentlemen, got screwed over by another worker but they handled the situation real well and were very fast. I have to say I was skeptical about the damaged boxes (ones that I packed myself) but after opening each most of my items that I packed well are still in tact, including a super thin glasswares. So far only 3 items broke (out of 200+ boxes and large furniture parts) and they were all thicker ceramic, and that’s really because I wasn’t as careful as how I packed glasswares. My recommendation for anyone that are going to pack fragile items themselves is to get sturdy boxes, thicker or double wall boxes and be sure to wrap your items as much as you can with either paper or bubble wrap (we used paper), and fill up each of your boxes. Overall, we highly recommend this company, it’s on the pricey side but the time and labor that it saved us makes it worth it, not to mention gas price is extremely high. And hearing from our movers that they get paid pretty well, that’s a pretty good company I’d say.

    The moving service was great. However I also had my car shipped from Florida to California. It was a nightmare! On the night before I was to fly to California I stayed in a hotel. The car shippers texted me & stated that my car would be picked up that afternoon. By late afternoon I had not heard back from the shipper. I finally reached a manager at the shipper who ended up arranging for a local tow company to take my car to the car lot. I was given the phone number of the original driver for the car shipper but my calls went straight to VM. I had no idea if my car was going to be picked up & I had a 7:15 a.m. flight. When I I talked to Colleen about this she told that Allied "typically" did not contact the car shipper. I hired Allied to take care of all of that. Instead I had to deal with it on my own! will never hire Allied again & would not recommend them.

    Not a good experience and I would not recommend. Totally incompetent with the estimate, drivers and agent. We were charged and extra $3500 on the final leg of a long distance move that was mishandled from start to finish. If I had known that these were middlemen I would have chosen another carrier. Experience is the ultimate teacher and I would NEVER hire Coleman - Allied again.Too much misinformation, useless apologies, empty promises and arguing was not a good formula for a successful relocation.Hated it!☹️

    The movers showed up on time, went right to work. They handled my property with care. They delivered my possessions on time, but there were two issues. They lost the cabinet brackets, which I had to purchase to replace. Also one of my chairs arrived broken and no discussion of how to go about having the insurance on my delivery pay for this

    Moving personnel did a pretty good job. Missed packing one cabinet. The first cabinet in the kitchen. Desk shelf broken, lamp broken and floor mat for under desk chair missing I was disappointed in the Customer service provided by the moving coordinator and salesman. Slow in getting back to me and coordinator not very pleasant . Did not follow through with the 3rd party who put up my shelf and entertainment center.

    We needed a major interstate relocation for retirement and Allied came through for us big. Our customer care rep Aaron handled all the premove details for us in a very professional manner. Our owner- operator Justin and his teams loaded and unloaded everything flawlessly. Our delivery was a two part - apartment and house. Everything arrived without a scratch. I highly recommend Allied and will definitely use them again

    Worsts experience of my life. Customer service is dead because I saw none in my dealings with this company. No return phone calls, no follow up, little help with my move. Mr Bruno should be fired! For being “in the business” for 10 years he doesn’t do his job very well. And the damage to my furniture by the delivery guy……I will make sure when asked “who did your move” to throw this company under the bus every time. I will shout it from the roof top, just so someone else won’t have to endure what I did.

    If I could give zero stars I would. Truck was over packed (meaning the space I paid for was given to another household) when it arrived and half my house didn’t fit. A third party company had to come pick up the overflow and take it to the warehouse where it has now sat for over a week with no time frame for when I’ll be getting the rest of my belongings which includes my husbands office and work items. So who knows when he’ll be able to work comfortably again. No one cares that this may be distressing or care to help get this fixed for us. To top it off the driver took such poor inventory that the overflow items that needed to be voided were voided incorrectly so when he showed up boxes are now missing and assumed to just be in overflow. Turned out he also misplaced the households items as well since he called us to see if we had them. Just absolutely beyond upset and disappointed that I paid close to 17k and I still don’t have half my house delivered to me. It could be weeks. If anyone asks if I recommend this company I will emphatically tell them NO.

    Of all the moving companies we contacted they were the only ones who came to our home to give us a quote based on our actual belongings. Our quote was locked in at that price so there was no bait and switch as other companies often do. They took great care with our things and everything arrived on time and was in the same shape as when packed. All the people we delt with were pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again

    The husband and wife team of Allied movers arrived to pack my home with their little boy with them! Talk about unprofessional! He was walking around my home, touching all my things etc, and I had to ask the lady to please put on her mask...During Covid-19, and I am high risk! They forgot three things in my garage, and I had to pull them out and put them in the side yard to go back and pick up the next day (and the new owners of home had to be notified!)..My items took nine days to arrive, and after the contract date! Many items missing or damaged, like a piece of my Mother’s favorite pottery... I even received someone else’s plastic container of gift wrap items.. I asked Allied to please look in the Warehouse for my missing belongings, like my designer beaded Christmas tree missing (part of a pair, and only one arrived)... Allied, How do you loose a 6’ beaded Christmas tree? I asked Allied over and over what should I do with these peoples items I got by mistake.. it’s been two weeks and no-one cares or ever got back to me...I watched how carelessly the movers were shoving and yanking my items around to get them out of the moving truck when it arrived at my new home...A garden bench leg broken off, and designer chair busted in pieces..Things they packed! How I clearly marked “this side up” with arrows around the entire box up, and all my artwork was leaned up against a wall sideways...They even had my tv on its side in my drive way opposite of the big printed arrows this side up..When I asked them won’t that damage my tv? They said, no it’s fine... They put my bed back together backwards, and barely screwed the thing together..They unloaded my 2,200 sq feet, four bedroom house in five hours! Arrived at 8 am, where gone by 1 am.. Oh, and then they upcharged me $800 for boxes they claimed they used...Not true, and they would not give me an itemized list of exactly but what items they boxed up(90% of my home was packed when they arrived!)... If you don’t care about all your sentimental items, or the items you worked hard to purchase, hire Allied... A company that truly doesn’t give a rats behind about getting your items to you on time, and not broken or missing all together!

    Things were mostly very good, but I needed more communication thatn was provided. A confirmation of the packing and loading dates, what time to expect the crew, etc. I even had to reach out to ask how much the bill would be! For almost $10,000 I don't think I should have to ask for these pieces of information. The driver and his crew did a great job.
