Review collected by a third partyA1 Electrical Ripped Me Off – $1,800 Wasted! A1 Electrical scammed me out of $1,800. They were hired to diagnose and fix an electrical issue, which they claimed to have done. After paying them, I found out the next day that the issue was NOT fixed. CenterPoint originally misdiagnosed the problem, which is why I called A1, expecting professionals to correctly identify and resolve it. Instead, they performed random, unnecessary work that did absolutely nothing. The next day, my. issue was STILL UNRESOLVED. CenterPoint came back and actually fixed the issue, proving A1 didn't do a proper diagnosis and had done nothing but take my money. Billy, the manager, was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed CenterPoint—ignoring the fact that I hired A1 to accurately diagnose and fix the issue properly, which they failed to do. After multiple ignored calls and emails, they only responded when I took further action to dispute the charge. This company is dishonest, predatory, and unprofessional. They charge for work they don’t actually do, ignore customers when confronted, and refuse to take responsibility. Avoid them at all costs.

Technician was on time, friendly dressed clean and appropriate. He was very knowledgeable about what checks he was performing and explained very well so I could understand.

This is my fifth home and the first time I ever had to replace the electrical box I got a quote of $5400 from this company and I did four other bids and none of them was even Half of what was quoted when I stated to the young man absolutely not he dropped it to $ 3500 which meant that he was still gouging and offering me things I didn’t need like a ground rod ground rods last from 15 years to 40 years depending on the soil & the condition of the copper and if you don’t have copper which I do, I’m highly disappointed that someone would come with a smile on their face and quote me $5400 to replace a electrical box that’s only 19 years old regardless to the extent of the damage it was basically surface and within the panels of the electrical box there was no need for rewiring or going through walls or structuring some new unit that he wanted me to also purchase in terms of the surge protection Was the additional up charge not Requested. So I found someone that will do the job at 1,400 which I think Is reasonable because I certainly believe in professional services and I understand electricians master electricians make good money, but to start off with that amount was unacceptable. Hopefully one day if I need them again, they won’t send him out
