  We were first home buyers. We had so many doubts; after a long search and investigation process, we received an advertising envelope from Reliant Home Funding by mail one day. It referred us to contact Carmelo Schembri if you want to start the process. My dad called him, and that was the best decision ever. Carmelo (my mortgage loan originator) and Patrick McEvoy (my loan processor) made buying a house more enjoyable, always with positive vibes and clarifying all the doubts and questions that we had at any time, always on top of everything. One of the phrases that I always remember from Carmelo is, "Determination is one of the most important qualities in life; I cannot emphasize it enough with words." We will be infinitely grateful to you and the entire team. Carmelo, Patrick, Maria, and Brandon are the best people we have ever met. I recommend Reliant Home Funding Inc. if you are in the process of embarking on buying a home. Dreams always come true.

  I would highly recommend Reliant Home Funding Inc. Efficient, thorough, responsive, and friendly. Carmelo Schembri, Fred Rimler, Neil Topal, Anthony Aponte, Diane Fotso was an amazing team to work with. We closed on an investment property today, we didn’t have more than 30 days to close and when we showed up to the closing everything was buttoned up. I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your efforts. I am sorry for all of the extra issues with this case. I know you would say that’s part of the job, but truly you ALL went above and beyond what’s usual for a normal transaction. Please know that I am so appreciative for all of the 11th hour superhuman efforts. Your knowledge and speed on which you close these difficult transactions is amazing. It has always been great to use your company for my realestate clients and actually experience the smooth transaction first hand.   Carmelo GERLANDO Schembri  was my mortgage loan Originator.  As I'm sure he would agree, it was an incredibly complicated and at times, difficult transaction. Indeed, there were plenty of occasions when it looked as though the chances of ultimately owning the house were between slim and none. There were also times when I felt like just giving up, but he has his ways of calming you down. My Favorite  was "Confia en mi" (trust in me), It is without any question that the reason I own this house today is because of Carmelo Schembri, Chris Schiano and the amazing team at Reliant Home Funding. There is simply no possible way this outcome would have been reached if he were not gently steering all parties via countless calls, messages, updates and most critically, his very sound advice. He is a first class professional whose trust he has carefully earned and will keep for many years to come. After the experience we just came through together, I would not consider working with anyone else for a mortgage. Period. I appreciate everything you did for us. Thank you so much.   for the suitable lender to accommodate my needs was a challenge but when I received a letter from ReliantHome Funding, I thought to myself, is this it??? Again I went on to read their reviews and I said this is it. This one review in particular spoke about Carmelo. This couple spoke so highly of him I knew he was great! And now I can say he was fantastic!! My process was not easy for me, as a single mom I began looking but wasn't all where I had to be financially but Carmelo provided a service. A service that was like no other. He cares about you, he embraces you, he senses your uneasiness, he treats you better than family. Just sitting here tonight watching around in my new home, I feel peace, I feel joy, I feel relief because Carmelo made it his duty to guide me, direct me, motivate me, support me emotionally! He continued to remind me that I deserved it. Carmelo is so special it's beyond this world. There are people out there who still cared, Carmelo is one of them. He truly and honestly wants the best for you. He'll tell you want you must know and not want to hear. I respected that most about him.   Carmelo Schembri is truly a blessing to work with. His customer service is loaded with genuine encouragement, support, guidance, perseverance, experience, and humor when necessary. I am grateful for his “client first” mentality. I know he really looked out for what was best for us. Our situation was a tough one during changing Covid-19 requirements but Carmelo didn’t give off any negative energy towards it and found us a lender. He also was very considerate and respectful of our price range as I have not worked because of Covid-19 which reduced our preferred purchase price. Seeing Carmelo work with us through that really demonstrated that he works to help people more than just make a good living. And not a lot of people can handle that challenge. We also were respectful of his time and efforts. Carmelo and Chris Schiano were able to bring us to close in a little over a month which is mind blowing during this Covid-19 pandemic. They treated us gently during this process as it’s my husband’s first home. Carmelo was very mindful in how he spoke to us, so we wouldn’t have unnecessary stress. He also spoke to my husband and I with equal respect and care, as sometimes I would have to take over while my husband was working. I am so glad this is Carmelo’s profession because he does bless families, not just with getting them into a new home but most importantly in the way he delivers his service. Carmelo and Chris make this process a pleasant moment and memory no matter the situation. Chris Schiano was an amazing piece to our team as well, he was on top of everything he needed to be and was very patient when explaining anything my husband and I didn’t understand. I would always recommend Carmelo Schembri and Chris Schiano to the best of my friends, family and colleagues. Carmelo gets you into the home AND he makes sure the ride to the home is smooth as possible.

My initial purchase bank ( a ‘well’ known big bank) had terrible refi rate, while RHF had a better rate despite the evil NYS mortgage recording tax! I didn’t shop around but just compared to my Purchase big bank’s rate but figured the 400 other internet reviews were good enough for me. Bobby was very quick at getting back to me on any questions I had and he was very trustworthy during the entire process. He was well aware of my concern of the evil NYS mortgage tax and addressed it with clarity. I know who to contact for refi in the future...

  Dan and Nick has been Phenomenal!! Being a first time home buyer I was faced with many emotions questions and fears but with Dan and Nick by my side it was a walk in the park.
