I went in and met with Judith. She was very kind and professional. A small calculation mistact was made and realized after I had left. I would have never know of the correction. I had decided to liquidate an inherited coin and bill collection; Jill in Villa Park assisted me in doing so. She was very professional, conducted similar comparison searches on items as I had done on some that she was unsure of, knew exactly which dates on coins and bills carried significant value and current gold/silver values for those that weren't. From the lesser values of wheat sheaf pennies to Federal Reserve Note currencies, PGS had an extremely well-rounded knowledge base. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Very friendly and very knowledgeable. They have officially become my new supplier of previous precious metals. I am in the business of selling antiques and collectibles of all kinds but I get stumped on objects from time to time. Ancient coins are among the most difficult items for me to assess in terms of authenticity and value. After striking out in seeking help from multiple coin dealers in my part of the country, I did a google search and found PGS Gold & Coin. The website made it clear, unlike so many other dealers' sites, that it had expertise in ancient coins. I called and got instant, friendly help. I then sent photos of some 230 coins and asked what it would cost for the company to identify and appraise them for me. The kind folks there studied the collection and shared with me their advice that it would NOT be worth me spending the money to pay them for the appraisal because the coins wouldn't generate enough in sales to justify the appraisal costs. It gave me an ancient coin 101 lesson in the challenges of identifying coins and determining if they're authentic or reproductions. PGS also gave me a general idea of what they'd sell for. When a company advises me NOT to spend money on its services, I know that's a company I can trust. It speaks volumes about the company's integrity. I look forward to doing business with PGS again in the future.
