  in December 2020 I have bought a structure that was bigger than it was indicated by the salesman in the US was suppose to be 27' in length and 16' in hight and the one that was deliver is 39'L by over 19' high which is impossible to accommodate in my backyard, in addition, I am unable to obtain a permit from the city. Is there anyway we can exchange for small version Thank you

In addition, your building consultant reached out to you to discuss this review. He is working with you to find a solution to reduce the height of the building you purchased should your application for city variance to allow the 19’ height be unsuccessful.   Just finish put up my garage it was 20x24 I use a scaffold to help me raise it . The first one was scary after that the rest went up really easy had my wife and parents to help after we built all 12 arch the day before . We started at 9:30 and at 12:15 it was up and had all screw in it.

  We received our building yesterday and I would like to discuss this with you. I feel completely taken advantage of and will not be making referrals to your company! I was already disappointed to learn that we wouldn't be getting the garage door and man door for the unit but I could live with that but to find out upon delivery we weren't getting the front and back walls makes me very angry! You even asked if I wanted a garage door at the back and I explicitly said no because I didn't want my husband's motorcycle going through the building. Silly me for thinking that would mean I wouldn't get a wall either! The other issue I am upset over is that you lead us to believe that because the plans were approved by the town that would mean we wouldn't need a building permit! WRONG! and we don't even know if we can get one for this building! I work very hard for my money and almost 7 grand came out of my retirement fund and I feel completely ripped off! I know now looking at the pdf file that I signed I should've taken a closer look at it before signing. I don't recall no walls being checked off when I signed it. Upset customer! Sharon & Murray

  I got played on their deals they give on buildings all ready to go and manufactured. The deal is a scam because it is not what you think. It doesn’t come with all the walls and parts necessary (which they try to sell you on after). The building itself is very cheap. I opted for a 28’x38’. As well this company makes you unload the building yourself and doesn’t offer help with instal. End all this company talks big game and sells you on a deal that’s not truly a deal. Do your research for companies that sell you the building COMPLETE but also offer unload and install. It’s only maybe $1,000 more from any other company and worth it. I would not recommend future buildings and even make sure to tell people of the horrible experience I had because last but not least, customer service doesn’t just mean being polite to a customer until you have their payment, it’s the follow through and making sure the customers happy. I expressed how unbelievably unhappy I was and they had no resolve for all the issues. Once the deal was done, they were done. What a let down.

There was no working with me to resolve any of this and the additions were ONLY expressed after the initial payment was taken even when I asked if I could get my money back and not ship the building. The building is sitting right where it was delivered, still unpacked as it will stay because of how dissatisfied I am. I ordered from Versatube and they have been AMAZING. You want to fix this, take a return of the building and give me my money back. Then I’ll take down my social media reviews pushing people to buy elsewhere. Otherwise the building will stay there and I’ll be glad to share this review as well to continue to use that pile of metal trash as a beacon for why to stay away from your company. The power of social media is funny these days, bad customer service can be called out and put on a pedestal for everyone. Be better… we’ll see what you do.

  Apart from the lady that wanted the size of the bundle for shipping, the service was good. It was difficult to get the size of the bundle for the transport company. It took her twelve to thirteen days to get the size and when she finally got the size she gave me one day to get it out of there. Her attitude could use a “little “ improvement!!!

  Typical sales person interested in pushing their product out the door, messed up or simply ignored my requirements concerning the foundation of the structure. Plans were late and were not what I had asked for. I had to provide a sketch explaining my request from day one and then was told that their engineer could not approve it which I never asked them to do, as it was only to EXPLAIN very simple instructions. I was told they would re-submit a new set of plans with foundation by others which means I will have to hire a real engineer to figure this out. I had to call the delivery company myself as I never got confirmation mentioned in email of delivery time, and finally I had to rent a trailer to haul the structure from point of delivery in Eganville back to Ottawa because I still don't have proper blueprints and can't get building permit. So if you like poor communication and total incompetence, this is the company to deal with. Good luck to you.

  Shady sales ... they lie about things to rush sales .. they send you pictures of finished buildings.. what you receive is not what you get. Do not let them take advantage of you like they did to me. A young female homeowner and they used that to make me sign, before I had a chance to check permits and realize the pictures they provided are not anything like what you get.. distrustful, sad because I used them because I support Canadian companies.. but might as well been Nigerian!

  We would like to provide a response to this. This customer did raise this issue with our company a month ago and as we always do we escalated the concerns through to our Sales Director who spoke directly with the customer and provided a follow up email outlining what the company was offering in the way of assistance with endwall planning - dealing with the township for building permission - as well as referrals from us for assembly services. We asked the customer to provide their direct contact at their township so that we could immediately begin assisting in any way we could. We have yet to hear back but upon seeing this review again a month after we connected with them we want to reiterate that the offer to work directly on this project with the customer remains.

  I sent you the head of planning email! I have kept an open channel since the sale of the product . I have not gone anywhere and you do not sell garage doors , which was not information given to me at the time. So doing the front of the building requires a garage door. Not offered by company , makes it very difficult to sell a garage without doors! I have not gone anywhere, I was giving you time to contact the towns email provided to you. Yours truly Cindy

  Few things that was suppose to come with the building as advertised didnt no silicone for seams and it says the pieces are silicanized which they are not either. Oh don’t forget to rent a forklift or piece of equipment to unload it all cause that’s up to the customer which they failed to mention also. I am disappointed in the overall purchase I should have went with traditional steel beam building which comes with insulation and they also unload it for you and comes with door and roll up door.

  Once the order was made, the communication with customer service and our sales rep was good. They responded quickly and efficiently. We may be in contact with them in the near future for other storage accessories. The delivery man was so nice and patient, he made sure he called me and assured me it was on site and with no problems. He made my day ☺.   If you don't mind having a high pressure sales pitch thrown at you like, "we've had this customer back out on part of their order and we have this particular size you're looking at right here on our dock ready to ship. 6 months later..." then you might enjoy dealing with them. They said it would be 14' high and it's barely 12' high.

  Overall the product appears like it will be good but I feel I was misled on what I was getting. The sales pitch was that it is a complete roof system all I need is 2 seacans and bolt the roof on. Once I got the drawing and package I realized there was no mounting hardware to attach to the seacans. It says on the drawing that I need a local engineer to design a mounting system. Not once was this tidbit of info disclosed to me before I ordered the package. So after spending another $3000 on engineering and flat bar and bolts I have a “complete package” ready to bolt down”. I feel very misled on what I was actually getting. Buyer beware I guess I should have looked into it more. Lesson learned.

  everything about these buildings is junk! they tell you what you want to hear when you are ordering your building and when it gets here it’s not as they describe. seems odd how every building they make they get a deposit on but it’s not picked up so they are able to sell it to you at a discount which is all a lie. i’ll be making some videos about it on my youtube channel 1puglife to explain exactly what the issues are. i will never buy anything from future steel buildings again and that you can guarantee!

  This is the 2nd building we have purchased fromFuture Buildings. We generally have dealt with Michael whom we have been very happy with. Once the orders were placed, he continues to follow up right through delivery to the end of construction. We would have no problems recommending Micheal or this company to future purchasers, as we have been completely satisfied.

  The company was great right up until they got their final check. Then they wanted to start nickel and diming me for something that I had been trying to get taken care of before my building ever even left the factory. It was almost like the representative ghosted me until the building was delivered then said they needed more money for what I needed because the building had already been delivered. So in the beginning it was good. After they get paid, horrible.

  The building itself is a quality building. I am happy with the structure. The customer service by the salesman was not good at all. Numerous attempts to contact him via text, email and phone have gone unanswered. The worst part in my opinion is the lack of details of what you receive versus what you are told or expect up front. Why would you sell the building without the concrete bolts to bolt the building down? Not told about it. Until you reach that point in construction. No grout the salesman talks about, so more to purchase. The instructions talk about caulking and how to apply it. But then recommend via phone not to use it? Again the metal is good quality. What is included is good. It would just have been nice to know up front so the additional things you need to buy. The salesman was extremely pushy and contacted me often prior to being paid to sell the structure. The follow up however doesn’t exist. Even though they tell you to contact them about anything at any time. I would buy the building again, if another company sold it and included everything. Why you don’t include the mounting bolts with the building is beyond me. You include the brackets to mount to the structure and slab, why not the bolts? That’s just crazy to me. Good building! Horrible company.

  We won't be able to put our building up until May, after the snow melts. But we are impressed with how it came packaged. The staff at Future Steel are the best I have ever dealt with. They are not only courteous and helpful but do a lot of follow up. They really do want to ensure their customers are happy. I would strongly recommend Future Steel to anyone.

  Mike was fantastic from the beginning which was which building to get pricing and what to expect next. He was do knowledgeable, professional and so courteous. When it came to the delivery, Mike also facilitated the smooth transaction. The driver was extremely nice and also helpful, professional and went beyond. This experience was seamless and thanks to all. Including the woman who took me through the initial purchase phase. Have an excellent year everyone.

  They helped me with everything I need and they went out of there way to help me . I still can believe the price they gave me . Also when it was delivered the driver the use was a great help unloading it with me . Thanks so much I will be getting more to add on to what I all ready have .

  The process was good. My only comment would be that the trucker struggled with time frame. We panicked when we were told at 8 am..."be there in just over an hour" ...trying to get the equipment and man power to the site in that time frame. When ultimately it took them almost 3 hours to get to site. Otherwise it was a good experience.

  I received my plans and buiding, but when I told them that I needed the calculations for their footing plans they haave not been forth coming with the information. I can not get my permit until this happens. My orignal request was on May 3 it''s now May28. I am in ;the process of contacting a attorney, they delayed 3 weeks,I wanted to have the building almost up by now.I would be happy if they return my money which I paid in good faith and took the building back, we are headed in to100degree weather now getting the permits and the slab poured is going to be a chore to say the least. The calculations are what tell how to build the foundation, so they have to have them when the plans are ready, the plans came stamped by a engneer.

  Needed another louvre for my building. Called to place the order - no problem. Drove to the warehouse for pickup, everything was ready when I arrived - no problems. Very happy with my building and follow-up customer service.

  Website is OK but does not provide actual pricing. Things are marked a lot higher than the actual price. The sales people are too pushy and want everything done in one call. The purchase of a steel building is a big investment and not something to feel rushed into.My one suggestion would be to have the delivery truck , have Hydraulic lift on it.

  I was very satisfied with the product. Only issue would be if it were more clear on how to get technical support. But as an experienced builder everything was there and the fitting of the parts was impressively easy.

  The material for the Garage is on my property. I am waiting for a newly passed law so I can proceed building my Garage oh April 15, 2019. So far I am very happy with Future Buildings Inc. Let's wait until we unpack all the pieces to see then.

  My only concern was that they did not inform me that the 4x4 holes per panel were on the bottom of the stacked panels. I found this out only after assembly on several arches.

  We we’re looking for a building for on farm storage equipment etc., we bought the 35 x 46 X-style building during a clearance sale. We are pleased with purchase, but we will not construct the building for a year. Great customer service thus far thank you.

  We have not yet erected our building so this review is for ordering and delivery process. Very smooth and efficient. Delivery was seamless. Excellent shipping and delivery experience. We live on a small rural road and the driver was not only friendly he was very helpful. Luc represented the company in an outstanding manner.
